Becoming A Worship Minister Session 1

Becoming a Worship Minister Workshop: Session 1 Recap

Last weekend, we gathered online for the first session of Becoming a Worship Minister, with worship team members from Hope UK and Norway joining us. This powerful session focused on understanding our identity in Christ and our role as worship ministers.

Worship is more than just music; it is a declaration of God’s ultimate importance in our lives. As ministers, we are called to serve, whether through music, media, or production. Our ministry begins with our relationship with God, as our identity in Him must come before any act of service. The essence of worship is not about what we do, but about who we are in Christ.

True worship is not something that is forced but rather an invitation into God’s presence. It starts in the secret place, behind closed doors, before it is ever expressed on a stage. Worship ministers must lead by example, pointing others to Jesus through both their lives and their songs. Music, media, and creative arts are tools that help us create an atmosphere where people can encounter God.

As we continue in this journey, our focus remains on cultivating a presence-driven church, where every act of worship directs hearts toward God. Let us press on in our calling, growing deeper in faith and devotion. To God be the glory!
